The effects of different reaction conditions (water consumption, catalyst type, sintering temperature, etc.) on the properties of silicon dioxide powders were investigated by sol-gel method. The effects of sol-gel method on the preparation of ultrafine SiO2 powders were investigated. The various properties of the powders were tested by means of formulation design and experimental study. Finally, the effects of various factors on the properties of the powders were summarized and analyzed in the sol-gel process. The results of this study provide the basis for selecting the optimum reaction conditions for the preparation of SiO2 ultrafine powders by sol-gel method.

By continuously changing the sol-gel reaction ratio and reaction conditions, in order to obtain different micro-structure of the silicon dioxide powder.

(1) the influence of the amount of water on the crystallinity, morphology and crystal size of silicon dioxide ultrafine powder;

(2) Effect of catalyst on the crystallization degree, morphology and crystal size of SiO2 ultrafine powder;

(3) Effect of sintering temperature on the crystallinity, morphology and crystal size of SiO2 ultrafine powders.

The crystal morphology and morphology of the powders were characterized by X - ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

Ultrafine silicon dioxide powders with different microstructures were obtained by continuously changing the ratio of reaction and reaction conditions. The effects of different reaction conditions on the properties of SiO2 ultrafine powders were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
