Research on workplace free silicon dioxide dust in the air detection and analysis methods. Methods: X-ray diffraction method to measure the silica content. Results: The relative error is relatively small, at around 9.2%, and the accuracy is relatively high, has reached the routine analysis of trace respirable dust sample accuracy. Conclusion: Using X-ray diffraction method can workplace free silica content of dust in the air were detected, and this method is simple, rapid, precise characteristics.

In this paper´╝î the silicon dioxide microsphere surface was modified using gamma aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTS) by a vaporization assisted process. The advantage of the evaporation assisted method in comparison with the simple dipping method has been demonstrated by analyzing the results.

Formaldehyde, urea is synthesized to form the urea formaldehyde resin as a whole column, and take it as a template to prepare a silicon dioxide monolithic column. Scanning electron microscopy, elemental analysis, nitrogen adsorption instrument and X- ray powder diffraction and other means of the internal structure and properties of the composite materials were characterized. The results showed that the overall preparation of urea-formaldehyde resin column process, to the reaction system by adding polyethylene glycol 6000 induced phase separation system to obtain a urea-formaldehyde resin monolith having mutually crosslinked matrix frame and the through-holes communicate with each other, take it as a template to synthesize silica monolith also showed double continuous structure.
