Compared with the prior art, the present invention was prepared to obtain an average pore diameter in 5-18nm, pore volume 0.24-0.30cm3 / g, a specific surface area in 418-480cm2 / g mesoporous silica materials, raw materials are cheap and easy and has to the reaction conditions and temperature, the preparation process is simple and efficient, safe and environmentally friendly features, ease of mass production.

In terms of liver disease, organ transplant can save the end-stage although the patient's life, but is limited by a shortage of supply sources, after the high cost of treatment and other serious problems. Based on the ability of stem cells to repair and regeneration regenerative medicine, it is expected to solve major medical problems facing humanity, following the initiation of a new round of medical and surgical medical revolution. At present, the stem cells differentiated into hepatocytes remain low differentiation, cell hybrid, immature and other outstanding issues. Undifferentiated embryonic stem cells implanted in the human body will produce teratomas, cell transplantation therapy applications, hindered its clinical application.

To solve the above problem, Sunfang Lin Tongji University Professor of Life Science and Technology, Professor Yang Xiaowei Materials Science and Engineering, his research team developed a novel mesoporous silicon dioxide nano-materials applied to the study of stem cells, first by referral porous silica nanoparticles surface-modified polyethyleneimine, the Activin a, aHGF, HGF differentiation factor adsorbed on its surface by means of electrostatic adsorption, sustained release differentiation factors. The results showed that mesoporous silicon dioxide nanoparticles carrying differentiation factors in vitro can significantly improve the mouse embryonic stem cells to differentiate into hepatocyte-like cells efficiency and differentiated cells obtained function of liver cells, such as liver glycogen accumulation, acetyl LDL transport and indole green absorption. After further in vivo experiments, nanomaterials carrying differentiation factor differentiated endoderm cells after transplantation into carbon tetrachloride injury in mice and found that it can improve the efficiency of differentiation in vivo and significantly improve the ability to repair liver.
