Superhydrophobic material is the result of joint action by its chemical composition and microstructure of the surface, so that in industry and everyday life have important applications. Articles with methyltrimethoxysilane (MTMS), trimethoxysilane (PTMS) and diphenyl-methoxy silane (DPDS) and silicon dioxide sol copolymer particles, can be obtained by spraying water contact angle up to 155 °, low roll angle of 1 °, while the adhesion of two super hydrophobic material.

Silicon dioxide airgel is a new three-dimensional nano-structural materials, has excellent physical and chemical properties, under certain conditions, for a variety of organic and inorganic substances with adsorption performance, tremendous research potential. The research by applying different levels of lead, cadmium ion solution as a liquid phase system, in DMF, TEOS, ethanol, deionized water molar ratio 1:2:6:12 ratio combining sol-gel method and under atmospheric drying technology successfully produce composite . aerogels in the study preparation process while the material characterization tests include: thermal stability, composite materials and other size and XRD results show that: the process of composite particle airgel prepared in less than 1000μm, which is due to drying time is too short, the particles agglomerate particle size 1000μm; XRD diffraction pattern showed a SiO2 amorphous state exists; airgel composite after heat treatment after good thermal stability between 250 ℃ to 600 ℃.

Sol - gel method with TEOS as precursor and ammonia as a catalyst, by hexamethyl disilazane (HMDS) sol modified using Czochralski method coatings, and low temperature heat treatment after having prepared good anti-moisture vacuum performance of SiO2 anti-reflection film. The film moisture resistance, water contact angle, contamination resistance vacuum and structure were tested to characterize. The results show that: the peak transmittance of doped silicon dioxide film of HMDS sol was 99.7%; water contact angle of up to 154 °; for 7 days in a dimethyl silicone oil in greater than 90% relative humidity environment as sources in a vacuum environment for 30 days, and the transmittance decreased only 0.05% and 0.35%, respectively, moisture-resistant than the unmodified film vacuum stability have been greatly improved.
